Selling Your Items

Selling your items to us is quick and easy. We take a few minutes to review all of your clothes. What we look at when reviewing your items:

• Brand - label must be attached

• Quality / Condition - New or gently worn. No rips or stains.

• Age

• Style

• 100% AUTHENTIC AND GENUINE

We consider buying clothing from any category. The amount of money we will offer you will be similar to that of what a thrift store would be selling your item for. For example: many thrift stores price items by category, where they sell all women's sweaters for $5, all women's dress shirts for $3.50, and all dresses for $6. You may bring a bag of 10 sweaters to us, and we may choose 8 of them, and offer you $40 total for those items. If we feel the brands are worth more, we may offer you more for an item, but we do use thrift store pricing as a guide to the minimum amount that we will offer for an item. We consider absolutely everything, so it's always worth letting us look at what you have.

Consigning Your Item

If you have an item that you are interested in getting more money for, we also offer consignment. We will guide you in deciding what is wise to consign and what is wise to sell directly. Naturally, when you consign an item to us, it will take longer for you to get cash for your item than if you were to sell it to us directly, but if it does sell through auction, you will receive more money for it. When you consign an item, we consider the same things that we consider when buying your clothes. Those are listed above under "selling your items".

We will list your item online in an auction within seven days of receiving it from you. When the item is listed, we will send you an email with a link on where to find your consigned item online so that you can watch the sale. The customer of your item is allowed up to seven days after the end of the auction to send payment to us, so after the item has sold and the customer has paid us, you will receive a check in the mail within 2 weeks of that time.

Consignment rates:

• For items sold for $499 and less: You receive 50% of the selling price and we receive 50%.
• For items sold for $500 and more: You receive 60% of the selling price and we receive 40%.
  
  If you consign an item to us while you are hosting a party, you will receive an additional 10% more than the above rates.
  
   

What Is Vintage?

Vintage is considered anything that is 10 years or older.
